I read that link, and some link within the link that dealt with relationship (boyfriend) rape.

This reminded me of several of the domestic workers known to me in India who, coming from poor, rural backgrounds, often between the ages of 12-15 even now. It is very common.

Some of their accounts of their suhaag raats (wedding nights) and subsequent nights also fall under the category of "rape". Whether they know this intellectualy or not, they feel the violation.

What can be done about that?

Marital rape. Yes. It's protected. Of course, some laws and judicial opinions that declare marital rape to be like any other rape are absolutely in order for a start. However, I don't know how far this will go since people are getting married at 12 or 15 and that is illegal in the first place.

Are you no longer living in India, PG? Do you intend to go back?

I'm not in India now. I'll be going soon though.

Sorry I missed ESPECIALLY you in LA. You seem like a nice person.

I keep getting banned at SM, even now.
